Irene Rios
Registered Dietitian, MPH
Irene Rios graduated from University of California, Davis with a bachelors in Clinical Nutrition, earned her Masters in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Promotion and completed a competitive Dietetic Internship Program at California State University, Fresno. She was a college athlete, playing on the UC Davis club tennis team and competed on the triathlon team. Irene has been working in the public health and community nutrition field for five years for a nonprofit, a federally qualified health center, and has provided bilingual diabetes management and prevention classes to hundreds of individuals in Fresno County. She coached high school tennis at the varsity level while teaching her athletes proper nutrition for optimal performance. Irene is currently focused on further pursuing a career in nutrition and chronic disease prevention and management.

Misako "Miko" Elliott
US Futsal Level 1 Certified Instructor
Misako Elliott grew up in Clovis playing soccer since the age of 4. She attended Clovis High School where she ran varsity track for all four years and played on the varsity soccer team for three years. After high school she played soccer for Fresno City College for two years and was recruited to play for Cal Poly Pomona’s division II women’s program. At the end of 2014 she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus in exercise sciences. After college she worked with children with autism where she learned techniques in teaching and instruction. In 2017 she moved back to Clovis to be closer to family and coached the 7th grade boy’s soccer team at Clark Intermediate. After the season ended she set out to coach for Clovis Crossfire’s U17 girls team for 2018.
